A loan helped to buy eucalyptus seeds to reforest 5 hectares of soil.

Campo Abierto Group's story

The members of the group "Campo Abierto” belong to the Toba QOM indigenous people of the San Francisco-Cerriteño community, a place where all the members of the group have lived for many years. They have seen how, with the passage of time, the green spaces in the area and in the community have been disappearing.

One of the members is Francisco, who is 65 years old and is married to Elva, 57 years old, who is an artisan. Together they have 6 children for whom they have fought to help them get ahead. Francisco and his wife have not been able to study, so they want their children to be able to do so.

He has the role of vice-leader of his community, in addition to being the cultural representative of the community. For this reason and having seen the problem of deforestation, he has decided to contribute a small grain of sand to improve his community.

He asks for this loan to be able to buy eucalyptus seeds in order to reforest 5 hectares of soil, so that over time they can recover the green spaces.
