Fresco Amanecer Group's story

The members of the group "Fresco Amanecer" belong to the Toba QOM indigenous people of the San Francisco-Cerriteño community, where all members of the group live.

One of the members is Gustavo, who is 26 years old. He has lived in this community for 26 years; practically since he was born. He is in a relationship with Zunilda, who is an artisan. Together they have two school-age children. Gustavo did not finish school and studied through seventh grade at school. He works mainly as a day labourer in masonry.

He mentions that having seen the great deforestation of his community and the green areas of the world, he is concerned about being able to contribute a small grain of sand to this global need, which is to improve the environment in the face of the great wave of global pollution and depredation.

That is why he is asking for this loan to be able to buy eucalyptus seeds, in order to reforest his community, specifically 3.9 hectares of land.
