Santa Rita Group's story

The group Santa Rita is in its fourth loan cycle in the women's committee program, where everyone works and helps one another to get ahead. All the women are self-driven and looking for ways to better themselves every day and thus provide their families with a better quality of life. In addition, they are a part of the poverty elimination program.

One of these women is Margarita, who sells food. She says that her sacrifice and hard work has allowed her to provide for her loved one so that they want for nothing. Her goal is to be able to receive training to improve her business since it's been very helpful to her in continuing to help her loved ones.

She is glad to have the opportunity to be a part of this committee. It will be helpful to her as she keeps improving her business.

She is asking for this loan to be able to buy ingredients to keep working making her food, like meat, baked goods, vegetables, seasonings, and other goods.

Note: This is a group loan but only one person appears in the photo. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a group photo wasn't possible in order to avoid a large gathering of people.
