Monte Verde Group's story

Hector belongs to the Toba QOM indigenous group in San Francisco-Cerriteño. He is part of the loan group, Monte Verde. He is 39 years old and has lived in this community for three years. He is in a relationship with Rufina who makes a living as an artisan. They have a daughter together. Currently, he makes a living in agriculture and occasionally works day jobs in cleaning and fencing.

He said that he is concerned with deforestation in the world and in his community and to confront this grave problem, he decided to do his part to hep the ecosystem and feel useful.

Hector is asking for this loan to be able to invest it in the purchase of eucalyptus seeds to reforest 4.6 hectares of land.

He is grateful for the opportunity he has received to be able to do something to improve the planet.
