Maryann's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped me to replace equipment and to keep employees on payroll during COVID19 restrictions.
Born and raised in small town Pennsylvania, family has been the cornerstone of my upbringing. The tight relationships with my 3 Grandparents, dozens of Aunts, Uncles and more than 50 cousins was as much a part of life as school and church. The traditions laid down by my Grandparents, such as 60+ people gathering on Christmas Eve to go caroling since 1945, still continue to this day! Grandpa encouraged us to dream bigger than our small world, but always remember that the people in that small world are your treasure. One dream he had of owning a pizzeria never came to fruition. Until 2015 when I bought majority ownership of a failing pizza shop in Pittsburgh, turned it around and renamed it after Grandpa Pastoli. Now his amazing love, energy and love for pizza live on. Through hard work and unbelievable hours, every single week for 4 1/2 yrs, our family has built Pastoli’s Pizza, Pasta & Paisans as a new cornerstone. Not only do our cousins still visit, and hold their special occasions here, but we are blessed to have expanded our family to include our employees, who even join us for Thanksgiving meals and graduation parties, and our loyal customers who have also blessed us by sharing their special events here and by inviting us to attend their birthday parties, holiday parties and even a wedding! Being an active community member who supports our schools, fundraising organizations, public servants, families and neighborhood businesses have always been important to us.
