La Verite Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on wholesale rice, manioc flour, potatoes, and beans; this will strengthen her starting capital.

La Verite Group's story

Ms. Angelique is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and leads the support group La Verite. She is married, 38 years old, and the mother of five school-going children. Her partner is a public official.

She sells a variety of foods; she began this business two years ago with start-up funds from her husband. Later, through involving herself with the Hekima program to support her business, she gradually progressed.

With this new loan, she is going to stock up on wholesale rice, manioc flour, potatoes and beans; this will strengthen her starting capital. Her business has no other challenge except for the current [Covid 19] crisis.

She would like to continue her children's education and to sustain her family. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support brought to business owners unable to qualify for bank loans.
