Center 173 Malipayon Women’s Association Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase piglets, sacks of feed, vitamins, and other supplies needed to raise pigs.

Center 173 Malipayon Women’s Association Group's story

Thelma is the President of Center 173 Malipayon Women’s Association, which helps members earn a living. The members of the association have banded together in order to earn additional income for their families while helping the community.

Thelma is engaged in both sugarcane farming and pig fattening. She has been a member of NWTF for many years, and she has borrowed loans from them that have helped a lot in establishing and making her business stable. She is requesting a loan to purchase piglets, sacks of feed, vitamins, and other supplies needed to raise her pigs.

Thelma hopes that through this project, people in the community can benefit--not only her members--and that someday the group will be strong enough to stand on their own profits. Each member is very happy to help her own husband earn a living.

Thelma still continues to encourage other members of NWTF to join the group to improve their lives.
