Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

The "Mujeres Emprendedoras" (Enterprising Women) communal bank is in its first lending cycle with the women's committee program. The communal bank is in the city of Curuguaty.
Each of the communal bank members is looking for a way to help her family.
One of the members is Andrea. In spite of her hearing and speech problems, Andrea has never given up. She looks for ways to improve her situation and get ahead.
Andrea has a hair salon, where she works every day starting early in the morning. She has a regular clientele that always comes to her because of the good service she provides to her customers. Andrea is happy for the opportunity she has been given to join the communal bank, which will enable her to help her family.
Andrea is requesting this loan so she can purchase supplies for her hair salon. She will purchase dyes, creams, shampoos, rinses and other products so she can keep offering her services.
Andrea is grateful for the opportunity she is receiving. She hasn't received this kind of assistance, that allows her to help her family, from anywhere else.
