Mbarete Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy clothes and shoes for resale.

Mbarete Group's story

This group is called Mbarete, which means strong ¡and they are! Since its members are looking for ways to help their families and give them a better quality of life; Mbarete is part of a poverty elimination program.

One member of the group, Blanca, works selling clothes and shoes; this activity as she says, has allowed her to generate the income to help her family. Blanca mentions that despite the difficulties, she never gives up and always seeks for ways to improve and provide for her family.

Blanca is asking for a loan to be able to buy a new inventory of clothes and shoes and thus continue with her business, as she has been doing so far. She appreciates this loan because it will give her the opportunity to keep on working.

Note. The children in the photo are the daughters of the group members who sign this loan.
