Rachael's story

Hello Kiva community!

Rachael is a 30-year-old single mother of two children who has always worked very hard and keeps her head high. She is a mixed farmer who injects passion and determination in her work. Rachael has always experienced constant progress in her life, and she doesn’t complain about anything.

Rachael has always had a passion for farming. She is a very proud farmer, especially when she is milking her cows that produce rich, creamy milk. However, as a result of the fluctuation of prices for crops and the change in industrial trends, Rachael is seeking a way out. She has decided to start selling cereals in her local market. Because she has little savings, Rachael is unable to purchase different varieties of cereal such as maize, beans and millet. That is why she is seeking this Kiva loan. She promises to repay it as soon as her business breaks even.
