Lucy's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE 1 energy system in order to have access to solar power for lighting, charging and cooking in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Lucy's story

Lucy is a 27 year old woman who lives in a 1 bedroom house without access to electricity, with 2 other family members. Lucy works as a chef but struggles with charcoal energy expenses. She spends a total of UGX 46,000 on her fuel. Lucy bought the ACE 1 cook-stove to help her and her family save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them to gain access to solar energy for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar powered. For more information on the ACE 1 cook-stove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy.
