Virgen Del Carmen Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy vegetables, meat, bread, chicken, ham and other products.

Virgen Del Carmen Group's story

The members of the Virgen del Carmen group, which is based in San Ignacio city, are very close and supportive of each other. They work together on activities, and they are satisfied with and feel supported by the women's committee programme to increase their income and become more independent.

One member is Selva, who joined this group so that she could help support her family. She is also the group leader and is looking for ways to help the other members and set a good example for them. Selva is a hard worker who is trying to improve herself, as she does not want her family to lack anything they need.

She requested this loan to buy ingredients for cooking, which is her job, as she wants to meet her customers' needs. She wants to buy vegetables, meat, bread, chicken, ham and other products.

Note: the children in the photo are the daughters of group members.
