A loan helped to purchase more groceries and soft drinks to increase her profit margin.

Fuseina's story

Fuseina is 38-year-old woman who lives with her husband and child in the Bole district of Ghana. She runs a business selling groceries and soft drinks. With her previous Kiva loans, Fuseina was able to launch her business and increase her stock. She reinvested the profit into the business. She is requesting another loan to purchase stock in higher quantities and increase her profit margin. She plans to use the profit she earns to support her family’s needs.

To repay the social interest on her loan, she will volunteer as a CAMFED Association member, mentoring younger members of CAMFED Association by educating them on leadership and entrepreneurship. Fuseina's dream is to continue her education and make an impact on her community.
