A loan helped to hire labor and buy farm inputs such as seed and nutrient-rich fertilizer to improve her crop farm.

Viola's story

Viola is a 33-year-old mother of three who lives in Eldoret. For the past few years, this enterprising woman has been engaging in crop farming.

Viola dreams that through farming, she will be able to pull away from poverty and see to it that her family has a good life. She is a visionary and keen on progressing.

Juhudi Kilimo, in partnership with Kiva, has extended its services to the remote areas in the Kitale region of Kenya, and their staff ensures that hard-working women have been actively involved in mixed farming. Viola loves farming as her only way of securing a living for her family.

Viola is seeking a loan to hire labor and buy farm inputs such as seed and nutrient-rich fertilizer to improve her crop farm. Your loan will enable her to improve her production through the use of quality farm inputs. Through this intervention, she will be able to improve the quality of her farm products and attract more buyers, leading to more profits.
