Veronica Del Carmen's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase corn, lime and firewood to be able to improve production and meet the existing tortilla demand.

Veronica Del Carmen's story

Verónica is married. She lives with her three children and her in-laws. Her children are twenty-one, eighteen and six years old. Two of Verónica's children are financially dependent on her. She does not have any relatives living abroad.

Verónica makes and sells tortillas. She generally runs the business on her own, but sometimes her mother helps. She learned the trade from her family, and has had her own business for six years. Verónica works Monday to Saturday 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. Her business has the advantage of being located in a very busy area.

This loan will help Verónica to purchase corn, lime and firewood. These materials will allow her to improve her tortilla production so she can meet the current demand. The investment will greatly help Verónica in stabilizing her financial situation because it will allow her to have a stock of inventory. Having that stock will increase her sales and generate a better profit.

Verónica's dreams are for the loan to help her business grow and to have a better financial situation.
