Cynthia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase larger quantities of groceries to meet the demands of her customers and to increase her profit margin.

Cynthia's story

Cynthia is a 21-year-old entrepreneur and lives with her parents and siblings in the Garu district of Ghana. Cynthia now operates a grocery shop which she started with her first Kiva loan. She reinvested the profit into the business. Cynthia is requesting another Kiva loan to purchase larger quantities of groceries to meet the demands of her customers and to increase her profit margin. She plans to reinvest the profit into the business to help it grow. To repay the social interest on her loan, she will volunteer as a CAMFED Transition Guide, mentoring Peer Educators and leading life skills sessions for students and other community members in the nearby schools.
