Melita's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase corn to make pupusas [Salvadorian flatbread] and bread to make hamburgers, in addition to sweets, drinks, and snacks amongst other products to have for sale in the kiosk.

Melita's story

Melita is single. She currently lives with a daughter. Melita says that 10 years ago, thanks to her mother, she learned the trade of selling fast food and other products in a kiosk. At this time she works at the business alone and at hours of 8:00 am at 5:00 pm. The economic income generated by the business helps her meet her different commitments.
She is requesting a loan to purchase corn to make pupusas [Salvadorian flatbread] and bread to make hamburgers, in addition to sweets, drinks, and snacks amongst other products to have for sale in the kiosk.
She hopes that the investment will allow her to have more variety of products in the inventory of her business, in this way she will better serve her customers.
Melita says that her aspiration is to keep working to grow her business and offer her family a better quality of life.
