Destinee Group's story

Medi is a client at IMF Hekima and is head of the "Destinee" group. She is 33 years old and is married with six children; the four eldest are in school. Her husband is an aid worker .

She sells secondhand shoes; an enterprise she began 10 years ago with seed funding from her husband. She later got involved with the Hekima program to support her business and, in conjunction with them, her business has gradually evolved. With this new loan, she is going to buy a large stock of secondhand shoes to boost her capital. The major challenge she faces is poor stock.

Medi would like to expand her business. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and their partners for the support they give to business owners who would not qualify for traditional bank loans.
