Tecla's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy farming inputs, such as hybrid seeds and fertilizer, to improve her farm's output so that her life will be changed.

Tecla's story

Tecla is a mother of six children, who are all in school. She is a mixed farmer living in Eldoret, a town that was significantly stuck by the 2007–2008 Kenyan crisis when violence occurred in Kenya. Living and working in Eldoret has been challenging, especially for Tecla. She is a forward-looking woman who works hard to establish herself.

Tecla has been a mixed farmer for more than 22 years. Although she has been earning some income from her farm, not everything has been easy for this enterprising woman. Her farm’s produce has been reduced due to lack of quality farming inputs.

In the modern world, agriculture has become exceedingly dynamic, therefore making the kind of inputs that are being used in the sector today upgraded. On this note, there is a need to use improved farming inputs for effective production. For this reason, Tecla is seeking a loan of KES 40,000 to buy farming inputs such as hybrid seeds and fertilizer to improve her farm's output. Through this loan, Tecla will be assured of a bumper harvest, which will mean more profits and income. Using this loan, she will be able to expand her enterprise.

Tecla hopes you will consider her request for this loan. It will change her life and help her achieve her dreams.
