Pauline's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped an ever-smiling mom to buy farm inputs such as nutrient-rich fertilizers to improve her crop production, which will support her family and improve her living conditions.

Pauline's story

Meet this industrious woman, Pauline (pictured in her sewing business). She is polite, devoted, responsible, and hardworking. She works entirely on her farm and her sewing business. Pauline not only enjoys the increased profits but also the independence that comes along with farming. For the past few years she has been practicing farming and she is also a seamstress. Farming is all that she thinks about. The biggest problem that farmers from her village face is the huge deficit in terms of access to agricultural inputs, meaning those farmers' yields and incomes are far below what they could be.

Juhudi Kilimo has partnered with Kiva to provide financial services to smallholders around Kenya. Through these financial services, village farmers like Pauline can now buy productive assets and important agricultural inputs. She is seeking a loan to buy farm inputs such as nutrient-rich fertilizers to improve her crop harvest and have a good harvest that will support her family and improve her living conditions. Your loan will enable her to improve her crop production through the use of quality farm inputs.

This intervention will help her fill the increasing demand for food in the market and, in the process, generate more income to repay the loan and improve the quality of life for her family. Please help this young woman to accomplish all her dreams with just a loan! Pauline counts on your help and hopes for your attention.
