Kalbubu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase income from cattle breeding and milk sales.

Kalbubu's story

Kalbubu is 64 years old, married, and the mother of four children. She has a secondary education. Kalbubu grows crops and rears animals as her family's primary source of income. Thanks to her hard work and help from her husband, Kalbubu currently has six cows, a horse, and a 1,8-hectare plot of land, on which she grows perennial herbs.

Kalbubu has an agreement with a local factory to provide organic milk for processing into dairy products. This allows her to continuously invest in her agricultural business. Kalbubu learned that she could receive a loan from Bai Tushum Bank through their "Value Added Chain" program. She requested a loan for 110,000 KGS to purchase dairy cows to increase earnings from cattle breeding and milk sales.

Payments from the factory will be deposited directly into Kalbubu's bank account and automatically put towards her loan payments. Earnings from the loan will help Kalbubu develop her farm in the future. Part of the earnings will be saved and put towards home repair.
