Anne's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cereals to sell to her customers and earn extra income to help this woman support her children who are in school.

Anne's story

Anne (a repeat Kiva borrower) is an enthusiastic farmer who lives in Vihiga, a town surrounded by prime agricultural lands which favor large-scale grain farming, dairy and horticultural farming. Having grown up in a poor family, she promised herself that she would change the situation by going the extra mile.

With her good farm management skills, she has been able to achieve great success on her farm. As a poor woman, Anne is very focused on making her life meaningful. She obtains her income through dairy farming and vegetable production.

Being the only breadwinner in her house, Anne decided to start a cereal business with a loan that she obtained from Juhudi Kilimo. The business is growing and she is getting new customers. Anne is very creative and has the ability to come up with unique, new responses to situations. She has the insight to recognize and take up useful new approaches to farming.

Anne is seeking this loan to buy cereals to sell to her customers and earn extra income. Accessing funds has been a challenge for Anne, but since she joined Juhudi, in partnership with Kiva, she feels relieved and happy that her life has transformed. Kindly lend to this determined woman.
