but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase farm inputs (hybrid seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers) to produce a good harvest that will support her children and improve her housing conditions.

Rachael's story

Her impeccable smile is what stands out when you take a glimpse of Rachael, a 43-year-old mom of 4 children. She is a woman who is very responsible and independent and always desires to achieve. She is hardworking and persevering because she has always wanted to give her beautiful children a good life and to empower their education. She works the farm, while her husband is the chief marketer of their produce.

Though Rachael dearly loves crop farming, her farm is at risk of attack by crop pests and diseases. To a poor rural farmer, treatment of crop diseases requires an increase in the total operational costs to the extent that, in most cases, the amount of capital invested to produce a desired yield surpasses the output harvested. The remedy is to use certified seeds that are resistant to pests and diseases.

Through this loan, Rachael will be able to purchase farm inputs (hybrid seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers) to produce a good harvest that will support her children and improve her housing conditions.

Rachael hopes for your understanding and help. She's very thankful in advance.
