Truphosa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped a repeated borrower to buy quality seeds to improve her crop farming and living conditions and increase profits.

Truphosa's story

Truphosa is 26 years old. She is polite, devoted, responsible, and hardworking. She raises animals and crop as an economic necessity.

Truphosa was born into a family where farming skills were passed on from one generation to the next. Since she did not have any other alternatives from which she could earn income, she ventured into farming. Through her continuous involvement in crop and animal farming, Truphosa is able to provide meals to her family twice a day.

She is seeking a loan to buy seeds and improve her crop farming. She hopes the lump sum she will receive from improving her crop farm will allow her to improve both businesses. She sees a mutual benefit between her crop farm and her dairy enterprise, since profit from both can help her earn a greater return on her investment. Income from the dairy farm will pay for crop expenses as the crops mature. Likewise, income from crop farming will allow her to buy more cows and plant more crops in the coming seasons.

This investment is sure to have a big impact on her family's livelihood.
