Selestine's story

Hello, Kiva community! Selestine (a 62-year-old mom of 7) is a hardworking farmer from a remote village in the Litein area of Kenya. Thanks to her daily efforts, she has managed to give her family good care.

Selestine has a farm where she grows crops and raises livestock. She also earns some income from a personal business. Selestine generates her income from selling produce from her farm which includes milk, maize, and vegetables. For the past few years, this has been her way of earning a livelihood for her family.

Since childhood, Selestine has always had a passion for farming. Selestine is a very proud farmer, especially when she is milking her cows. Her cows produce rich creamy milk, which helps her support her family. Selestine also practices crop farming, but has not been making good profits.

Selestine is seeking a loan to buy farm inputs such as fertilizer and seeds. Your loan will enable her to improve her production through the use of quality farm inputs.

This intervention will help Selestine to meet the increasing demand for food in the market. In the process, she will generate more income to repay the loan debt and improve her family's quality of life.

Help this mother accomplish all her dreams with just a loan!
