Ann's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase quality farm inputs (fertilizers and seeds) to boost her yields and improve her sales so that she can educate her children.

Ann's story

The nice woman pictured in this photo is Ann. She is 44 years old and a mom of 3 children, 2 of whom are school going. She is a mother of lovely children who moves from pillar to post to ensure that her family never lacks anything.

Ann has been in agribusiness production for many years. Thanks to her passion and enthusiasm, she is able to pay school fees for her children who are currently in school.

Ann lives in a humble home in Machakos. Her passion and enthusiasm for farming have helped her to gain much respect in her village, and she is treated as a mentor by her village counterparts.

In the modern world, agriculture has become exceedingly dynamic, requiring quality inputs for effective production. As an informed farmer, Ann has taken this loan to buy farming inputs, such as high-quality seeds, pesticides, and herbicides. This loan is an opportunity that she never had before. Her irregular income and lack of collateral security were the main drawbacks limiting her from accessing a loan in commercial banks.

Thanks to Juhudi Kilimo and Kiva, the lives of Ann and her family will be changed through this loan. Help Ann achieve her dreams with just a loan.
