Hellen's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a dairy cow to improve her milk-vending business, meeting the high demand in her area, to earn a profit and improve her living standard.

Hellen's story

Hellen, age 45 years, is a mother of seven children. She lives in Eldoret, a town surrounded by prime agricultural lands that favor large-scale grain farming, dairy and crop farming. Her powerful smile is undeniable and creates an impact of positive living on those she interacts with.

Hellen has always wanted to take care of a dairy cow, but a lack of capital has prevented her from doing so. She is now seeking a loan to buy a dairy cow to improve her milk-vending business. The cow she intends to buy is a breed that produces rich, creamy milk each day. With this cow, she will produce more milk, which will translate into more income.

The demand for dairy milk in her area is high, but the supply is low. Therefore, through this loan, Hellen is going to have more milk and comfortably meet the demand.

Hellen's vision is to keep even more dairy cows so that she will be able to build a biodigester, which would help her to save more energy.
