Israel's story

Israel, 54, is married and has 2 children. He lives with his family in a rural community in the municipality of Morazán, Yoro. He has been working in agriculture for 18 years, growing yuca, corn, and watermelons. Since a year, he has also been growing bananas, beans, and papaya in the agricultural farms in the community where he lives.

Israel has had a number of loan cycles with the institution. He is currently seeking his tenth loan for 24,000 lempiras to invest in the purchase of 24 bags of fertilizer and inputs to aid his farming. This financing will help him have better harvests.
