Cerrito Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy starch, cheese, eggs, lard, salt, and other additional ingredients.

Cerrito Group's story

The group called "Cerrito" is in its fourth loan cycle in the women's committee program, where everyone works and helps each other to get ahead. They are doing the survey on the elimination of poverty, through which they will be able to know their situations in life, and with this be able to work to improve them.

One of the members is Elva, who every day from a very early hour works with her hands to make chipas [cheesy buns] to sell. These are a typical Paraguayan food. Through her effort and work, she continues to move her family ahead, and she comments that it is going well for her and that she already has an established clientele.

She is a very hard-working person who fights for her family. She is requesting this loan to be able to buy ingredients to make her chipas, such as starch, cheese, eggs, lard, salt, and other additional ingredients.

They [the group members] are happy for the opportunity they have to be part of the group, which will be of much help to them.
