La Chaleur Group's story

Berasira is a customer of the MFI Hekima and the leader of the La Chaleur "banque villageoise". She is married, 66 years old, and the mother of 12 adult children. Her spouse is a merchant.

She sells small food in her cafeteria, a business she started 30 years ago with start-up funds she received from her biological parents. Later, in order to support her business, she joined Hekima and has been gradually progressing since.

She plans to use her new loan to buy items including Fanta, milk, and cassava flour. Her main business challenge is finding enough customers.

She would like to build a brick house.

Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they give to non-bankable business owners.
