Wendy is a 26-year-old, young woman. She is the mother of two children and is a merchant. She works selling clothes and shoes. She also has had a convenience store in her house for five years, but her clothing business she does as a street vendor in the communities close to her home.

She started her business with the help of her husband who works in mining, but the initial funds used in the investment came from severance payment from a job Wendy had. She later obtained a fund from Fundenuse that helped her get ahead by investing more in her business and obtaining more earnings.

Wendy belongs to the Las Vencedoras solidarity group, along with Berta, Ivania and Liduvina. She seeks a loan from Fundenuse with Kiva funds to invest in her convenience store, and in clothes and shoes. Her next goal is to incorporate the sale of chicken and tripe soup in her convenience store.
