Deborah's story

Deborah is 47 years old and she is married with four children. They live in a community in Honiara, the capital of Solomon Islands.

She owns and operates a small general store business selling food items such as rice, noodles, biscuits and canned foods in her community to earn a living. She has been in this business for five years.

Deborah has requested a loan to pay for additional rice, sugar, noodles and biscuits to increase her stocks and assist her in running her business. She plans to use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and improve her business.

She joined SPBD in 2013 to gain access to financial services for her business.
