A loan helped to buy rams to resell in order to grow his business.

Keleya Group's story

Dramane is pictured holding the ram's head in this group photo. He is 52 years old, married, and the father of five children between the ages of 4 and 18. Two of his sons attend school.

Dramane's main activity is raising livestock. He has been working in this capacity for over ten years. His wife runs a small shop in addition to taking care of the household and helping her husband with the animals. Dramane buys his rams at the nearby markets, often in his village. He fattens them and resells them at the market in Bamako.

His dream is to become a livestock farmer on a larger scale and have the ability to purchase more animals. To accomplish this, he is requesting a loan from RMCR to grow his flock and help feed and transport the animals. His business enables him to cover his children's school fees and other family expenses.
