Joanny's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 350 sheets of sheet metal and 400 rims to make stoves and to save for his children's schooling.

Joanny's story

Joanny is father of three children, all of whom attend school. He is a welder and opened a welding workshop in a peripheral market in the capital. He has been running his workshop for more than 15 years.

Joanny is on his eighth loan cycle with YIKRI. He repays his loans well and had no trouble repaying his first Kiva loan. He is requesting a new loan to purchase 350 sheets of sheet metal and 400 rims to fabricate stoves to sell to his customers. He wants to use his profits to reinvest in his business and to save to take care of his children's schooling.

He thanks Kiva lenders and urges everyone to protect themselves from the COVID-19 virus by following hygiene guidelines.
