A loan helped to buy beads, nylon chord and bracelet locks to craft more bracelets as requested by her customers.

Emily's story

Emily is thankful for her previous loan extended to her by Kiva lenders. With her loan, Emily was able to buy chicken and other ingredients to cook and sell fried chicken. She made many sales and repaid her loan on time. She used her profits to retain her fried chicken business and to add more inventory to her store.

Emily continues to find ways to earn additional income during her free time. Recently, she began creating handcrafted bracelets made from beads. She is happy that she is able make quality bracelets and sell them as well. She is requesting an 8,000 PHP loan to buy beads, nylon chord and bracelet locks to craft more bracelets as requested by her customers. She hopes to be be able to grow this business and make it a steady secondary source of income for her family.
