Gloria's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy more fish to sell to expand her business.

Gloria's story

Gloria is a 24-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her mother in the Luwingu District in Zambia. She is the district Vice Chairperson of Cama, Camfed’s alumnae association. Gloria sells dried fish and is requesting a Kiva loan to expand her business by buying more fish to sell. She plans to use the profit she earns to support her family with basic needs. Gloria will repay the ‘social interest’ on her loan by volunteering three hours per week as a Financial Education Guide, supporting other young women in her community, by teaching them about financial literacy and best practices for setting up a business.
