Haniyeh's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy sheep to support her home-based dairy production business.

Haniyeh's story

Haniyeh is a 63-year-old Jordanian married woman and a mother of 1 kid. Her husband works as a driver and she has a home-based dairy production business to help support her family. To produce dairy products, she breeds and takes care of some sheep but now she needs more sheep in order to continue her production. Haniyeh lacks the finances to purchase the extra sheep so she decided to ask for a 600 JOD loan to buy the sheep. She hopes that she can buy a home one day.

Note: Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, staff from Kiva's Field Partner Microfund for Women are working from home and temporarily do not have access to their internal loan system which stores this borrower's exact repayment schedule. In order to ensure they can still post borrowers in need to the Kiva website, this loan was posted with an approximate repayment schedule, in the form of a single bullet payment at the end of the loan. However, Microfund for Women will report and send repayments to Kiva as they are actually collected.
