Wokie's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase more rice, vita, bath soap, washing soap and other items to sell.

Wokie's story

This is 33-year-old Wokie from Liberia. She is married with three children. She attended school up to sixth grade. All of her children are currently attending school while living at home. She runs a business where she sells rice, vita, bath soap, washing soap and other items. She has been in this business for six years and works 15 hours per day, six days a week. She has had no problems with her business.

Wokie requested this loan from BRAC to purchase more rice, vita, bath soap, washing soap and other items to sell and increase her business. She says that the extra income from this loan will help improve the family's standard of living. In the future, she wants to continue sending her children to school and to build a house. She says thanks and gives appreciation to BRAC and the Kiva community for their support.
