Renacer Avicinia Group's story

Nereyda is 29 years old, single, the mother of a son, and works as a tailor. She was able to study up to sixth grade where she learned sewing, and also to make handicrafts and work with fabrics. Because at that time she was very young but talented to work in sewing and made dresses, her mother helped her with a sewing machine.
Nowadays, she renders this service to a good number of people, mainly students of the community where she lives, by making paints, shirts for uniforms and other useful things for the house. With this business she has been able to buy her own house.
She is requesting a loan at Fundenuse with Kiva funds in order to buy materials, such as fabrics in order to give a better service to her customers. Her next goal is to improve the conditions of her work in order to make better designs. Her future plans are to reach a greater part of customers in her community. She belongs to the group “Renacer Vicinia”, together with Heladia, Adamaris, Karla, Rosa and Teresa.
