A loan helped me to buy a hood to finish the bakery's Kitchen.
I was born & raised in the city of Juticalpa, which is located in Honduras. At the age of 17, I enrolled at UNAH, a university located in the capital of Honduras. This is where I obtained a doctorate in chemistry. Ever since I was a little girl, I loved to bake goods at home. My friends and family actually really liked what I would bake for them. In 2007, my family & I migrated to the USA for a better life. A couple of years later I enrolled in some decorating classes to learn about the craft of decorating cakes. This is when I discovered that I really enjoyed baking for others. In 2016, I started to work from home baking cakes, and this eventually turned into a source of income for the household. Then, my husband and I saw this and we both decided to make this into a reality and started to plan on opening in a public location. In 2019 I signed up with my husband and son for business management classes with the WWBIC Corporation. In December of 2019, we officialized the company and called it Nissi's Cake Room LLC. Currently, my family & I are working on remodeling a location to open to the public. The funds we currently have are not enough for the required equipment to open shop.
