Au552 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE 1 hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting and charging in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Au552 Group's story

Mamokonyana is a 52-year-old woman who lives in a two-bedroom house with seven other family members including five children. She relies on self employment as a hawker and struggles with buying multiple fuel sources and an insufficient income. Mamokonyana spends the most amount of her energy expenses on electricity and gas, which costs up to LSL 250 per month. She also spends as much as one hour per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

Both members of the Au552 Group in this village bought the ACE-1 cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE-1 clean cookstove is biomass and solar powered.
