Abias's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase cattle.

Abias's story

Abias lives in Kiruhura district, a major cattle corridor in western Uganda, and he has been in the same area for over 38 years. He is a married man and has three children. He is a farmer dealing mainly in cattle fattening at a small scale, and he also trades cattle.

Abias is an established farmer of cattle rearing in the areas of Kiruhura. He normally sells 15 cows every month earning at least UGX 200,000 getting a profit margin of over UGX 2,000,000 per month. He is requesting the loan to buy more cows for fattening so that the he can earn much better profit margins from the business.

His future plans are that he wants to buy more farmland that will keep as many cows as possible for the business to raise his monthly income, take his children to good schools, and construct a good family home since he is staying in a semi-permanent home. Thank you.
