Thanh Luong 20 Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy fingerlings for fish raising.

Thanh Luong 20 Group's story

Mrs. Duong is a 58-year-old Thai ethnic woman who is married. She lives with her husband, her daughter and a grandchild in a small house in a remote village of Dien Bien province where agriculture is the main income-generating activity of the locals.

Like other villagers, Mrs. Duong's family income is mainly from rice farming and fish raising. In order to expand the scale of breeding, she decided to continue to take a ninth loan cycle from the Anh Chi Em (ACE) program to buy fingerlings for fish raising.

With the support not only of financing but also non-financial help from ACE, Mrs. Duong hopes that those fish will grow up fast and healthy so that the profits will come and she can use this income to support her grandchild's education as well as cover other family expenses.
