Yakareli Del Socorro's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy rice, beans, sugar, coffee, soap, hair gel, candies, and soft drinks.

Yakareli Del Socorro's story

Yakareli began setting up a little grocery store business at the age of 23. On seeing the demand of her customers, she kept adding a variety of products to meet the needs of the zone.

At the age of 35, she feels proud of the goals that she has achieved with much effort, honesty, and loyalty. She raised her three children, who now help her tend her business, which offers deodorants, hair gel, shampoo, body creams, and basic grains.

In order to strengthen her business, she applied for a loan from MiCrédito, together with the support of Kiva, to be able to buy rice, beans, sugar, coffee, soap, hair gel, candies, and soft drinks.

In the not-too-distant future, she would like to have a mini-distributorship on the outskirts of the city to cover the needs of other customers in another zone.
