A loan helped to buy fertilizers, compost, shovels, and a machete.

Meybeling Elizabeth's story

From a young age, Meybeling learned to grow yucca and corn from her father in order to support her son, who is her motivation to continue harvesting every season.

Meybeling is known as a kind, considerate, helpful, hardworking person, which is why she always counts on the help of her father and younger brother with each crop. She is a young woman who just turned 28 years old and she wants to be a pillar for her family.

With the hope of continuing to grow her business, she is asking for a microloan with Kiva's support in order to buy and prepare two parcels of land to grow yucca and buy compost, fertilizers, shovels, and a machete.

In the near future, she wants to finish the construction of her home through a new loan, and thus give her family a greater level of comfort.
