Alicia Del Rosario's story

Alicia used to work selling Nicaraguan tamales. With time, her customers requested coffee and sugar. At this time, she has been the owner of a store for a long time. She has had to face very difficult situations but, thanks to her optimism and confidence in herself, they have been overcome little by little. To strengthen her income, she has worked selling new clothing and all sorts of items for personal use and consumption for twelve years.

Alicia has knocked on the doors of Kiva and MiCrédito to purchase lotions, medicines, candies, rice, and canned foods with the objective of increasing her business more, which will allow her to have more earnings and make improvements to her house. In the near future, Alicia plans to convert her store into a grand distributor.
