Codou's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy hibiscus flowers, baobab fruit, sugar, and fabrics.

Codou's story

Codou, married and mother of one child, is 45 years old and still a very dynamic woman.

She joined the banc villageois when it was set up in 2008, and over the cycles she has been able to put into place profitable and long-term activities around the sale of fabrics and natural juices. To do this, she has been going door to door for several years.

She usually gets her supplies from the central market. With this new loan, she plans to renew her stock of products by buying fabrics, hibiscus flowers, baobab fruit, and sugar to produce natural juice to resell in her neighbourhood.

Her work generates profits which enable her to increase her buying power, save with the banc villageois, and contribute to daily expenses.
