Jenny Jaqueline's story

The city of Portoviejo was affected by the 16 April 2016 earthquake. The city is rich in the production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruits for domestic consumption.

Jenny Jacqueline, 39, is married. She has four children, one of whom is an independent adult and the others, ages 18, 8 and 3, attend school. Her husband's a carpenter. They live in a house that an uncle loans them.

Jenny works at home Monday through Saturday preparing a variety of lunches. She serves customers in her home and also delivers. Her husband helps her with the customers service and also making deliveries.

With this new loan she's going to buy provisions and some chairs.

Her dream is to have a store of her own and for her family to be very healthy.
