A loan helped to pay school fees for her firstborn son joining secondary school.

Robina's story

Robina is a happy mother of six children, with five now attending school in Bwera, Uganda.

She is involved in running a general merchandise shop that earns her a primary income, alongside a complement from a monthly salary where she works as a nurse, as well as having a mobile-money business and a motorcycle-transport business, which, altogether, are extra sources of income. These proceeds have enabled Robina to have her household welfare and income boosted, as well as paying school fees for her children.

Her dream is of having a presentable and comfortable house and having all her children attain very good education, though she is limited by inadequate business finances. Robina used her previous loan to buy more cement, sand, and aggregates for plastering her house.

This loan's purpose is to pay school fees for her firstborn son joining secondary school
