Ofelia Isabel's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase materials for the roof of her business, such as zinc, iron, and purlins, and tables, chairs, and tablecloths.

Ofelia Isabel's story

Ofelia is a 42-year-old woman with three children, who are her greatest inspiration. She is known as being sociable, friendly, responsible, and hard-working.

For 4 years she has had a food business. She began selling tacos, potatoes, enchiladas, and fried plantain slices. After some time, she moved to a retail space, beginning with chairs and tables to offer her customers more comfort.

To get ahead with her food sales, she asks for a loan from MiCrédito with the support of Kiva to be able to purchase materials for the roof of her business, such as zinc, iron, and purlins, and tables, chairs, and tablecloths to offer better service to her customers.

In the not-too-distant future, she wants to have a family eatery at primary points in the community.
